What we know about you, and what we do with it.

The short answer: very little, and nothing surprising. This page says it plainly, as the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 asks us to.

This website

The site itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics. It doesn’t track you, profile you, or follow you around the internet. It shows you the valley; that’s all it does.

The inquiry form

When you fill in your name and dates and press “Send on WhatsApp”, the form simply composes a WhatsApp message in your own browser. Nothing is sent to us or stored anywhere until you choose to send that message yourself.

Booking on WhatsApp

Bookings happen in conversation, on WhatsApp. What you share there — your name, your number, your dates — is used to hold your cottage, welcome you properly, and reach you about your stay. We keep booking records for up to 36 months; records the tax laws require us to keep are kept as long as those laws say.
